EGT Digital recognised for its achievements in intellectual property

The company ranked second for trade mark filing activity in the 2025 National Map of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Bulgaria.

EGT Digital has been recognised for its achievements in intellectual property, ranking second among legal entities in Bulgaria for trade mark filing activity in 2025. With 57 applications, the company secured its position among the country’s most active businesses in protecting their brands.

The recognition was announced during the official presentation of the 2025 edition of the National Map of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Bulgaria, held on 22 October at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia.

The report records 3,755 trade mark applications filed from Bulgaria in 2025, including 3,069 by legal entities. EGT Digital’s position in the ranking highlights the role of the gaming industry among the country’s most active sectors in this field.

The National Map of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Bulgaria is an annual initiative led by UNWE in partnership with national institutions and organisations. It examines intellectual property activity across the country, highlighting its importance for innovation and economic competitiveness.

The ceremony also recognised EGT, which led the trade mark filing ranking with 171 applications and received the distinction for the second consecutive year.
