Maestro

Maestro is a type of debit card provided by Mastercard. Maestro cards can be used for in-store purchases and ATM cash withdrawals. Most Maestro cards also allow online payments, depending on the associated bank. Starting July 1, 2023, Mastercard initiated the phase-out of Maestro across Europe. However, Maestro debit cards will remain operating in the field until 2027.
