Product Owner, Payments

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and prioritizes product tasks (backlog)
  • Translates product requirements and stakeholder strategy into understandable tasks for developers
  • Ensures compliance of the product with the regulatory requirements of the various markets, together with the COM team
  • Studies and knows the requirements of the market and customers and identifies possible functional deficiencies in the product
  • Supports the work of developers by providing understandable and detailed functional requirements, in writing and at regular meetings
  • Ensures the quality of the product together with the QA team, discussing with them the functional requirements of the tasks and the appropriate test plans
  • Assists the tech writer in preparing detailed product documentation
  • Maintains a comprehensive roadmap together with other colleagues from the PMO team
  • Preparing and conducting presentations
  • Creating a demo of the product demo, both for internal product training and for external customers or potential customers
  • Presence and active participation in meetings with third countries
  • Coordination and appointment of meetings between different DEV teams
  • Checks with the stakeholders that the specific task is satisfactorily fulfilled before being sunned in production
  • Reports the status of tasks and plan to the team leader

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science, Information technologies, or relevant
  • Preferably 2 years of experience as a PO (experience with Payments will be considered an advantage)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Very good understanding of software delivery life cycle
  • Experience in working with API
  • Experience in working with databases
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Can-do attitude, positive, proactive
  • Organized, able to prioritize and resolve critical and complex issues
  • Strong command of the English Language – verbal and written
